We are privileged to be able to explore this place, and we do so acknowledging that Sovereignty was never ceded. We hope that we can honour the heritage of the land as faithfully as possible.
The wild and rugged beauty of Marramarra creek is one of Sydney's best kept secrets, which is just part of what makes it so special. Not a soul to be found, save for the odd Sea Eagle soaring overhead.
The Berowra Valley is a wonderful incursion of wilderness into the metropolis of Sydney, stretching 25 km north from around Thornleigh, until it joins the Hawkesbury at Sunny Corner, on its long course to the sea.
Surely the prettiest harbour in the world, tucked in behind the Northern Beaches Peninsula, where the river meets the sea. Loved by sailors, swimmers, kayakers, bushwalkers, and those who just love to sit back and soak it all in.
Watched over by the sphinx-like guard of Lion Island, Broken Bay is where the Hawkesbury, Pittwater, and Brisbane Waters all meet the Pacific Ocean. A magnificent end to a spectacular journey.
A beautiful tributary of the Hawkesbury, Cowan Creek stretches north from the top of the ridge at the back of St Ives, until it joins the river just before its end at Broken Bay. Crystal clear water and pristine beaches
